The standard we build to

We aim for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the benchmark the U.S. Department of Justice points to when it applies the Americans with Disabilities Act to websites. Where the newer 2.2 criteria are practical, we adopt those too.

What we actually do

We fix the site's code, not the symptoms. Real headings, real labels, real landmarks, keyboard support, and text contrast that passes measurement. We do not use accessibility overlay widgets. We removed the one this site used to carry after our own testing confirmed what the FTC found in 2025: a script pasted over a page does not fix the page.

• A skip-to-content link and proper page landmarks on every page.
• Visible keyboard focus on every link, button, and form field.
• Color contrast corrected to WCAG AA on every template.
• Forms with programmatic labels, including our contact, quote, and file-upload forms.
• Reduced-motion support: if your device asks for less animation, the site honors it.
• Automated scans with axe-core, the industry-standard testing engine, plus manual keyboard and screen reader checks. We keep dated before-and-after reports of every audit.

Known gaps we are working on

Our news section runs on a separate publishing platform and still has a few template-level issues we are correcting. If you hit a problem there, or anywhere, the fastest route is to tell us directly.
