• Join Weber Advertising and Marketing on August 2nd, for our biggest party yet! The Pre Concert Cookout starts at 2pm at Pavilion #2 (at the top of the hill, near the amphitheater)
This is a FREE EVENT! But Tickets Are Required!

• We’re putting a fresh spin on the traditional backyard BBQ. In addition to burgers, hot dogs, and chicken, we’ll be whipping up big pots of jambalaya and gumbo. We may even deep-fry some turkeys! All we ask is that you bring a covered dish, salad or other picnic favorite. (Too many people bring deserts and there never seems to be enough appetizers or sides)

• Following the Cook Out, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band will take the stage, entertaining the crowd with authentic New Orleans Jazz!


A bit about the event:
Long’s Park Summer Music Series

Each summer Long’s Park offers their summer music series for free to the people of Lancaster and surrounding communities. This is a chance for friends and family to see award winning artists free of charge in the serenity of the park. Seating is offered to all, and food and beverages will be available throughout the night.

For over 40 years the band has traveled worldwide spreading their mission to nurture and perpetuate the art form of New Orleans Jazz. Most recently the PHJB were featured on the soundtrack of the hit film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”
